

After filming in Charlestown, crews with Ben Affleck's "The Town" have moved to
Boston's North End and are filming on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at at Neptune Oyster
located at 63 Salem Street.
Also, word on the street is that Pete Postlethwaite, a veteran British character actor
known for his severe bony cheeks and performance in "The Usual Suspects," has joined
the growing cast.
"The Town" also stars Jon Hamm, known as Don Draper from "Mad Men," as a FBI agent
who becomes smitten with a female bank employee, played by "Frost/Nixon" and "Vicky
Cristina Barcelona" actress Rebecca Hall.
Affleck, playing Boston's most wanted bank robber, is both directing and starring in the
film following a bizarre love triangle involving a crook, a bankteller and a FBI agent.
The movie is an adaptation of the blue-collar heist novel "Prince of Thieves" by Chuck
Hogan which was written for the big screen by Peter Craig and Affleck.
Last week, actress Blake Lively, known as Serena van der Woodsen from "Gossip Girl,"
was spotted on the Charlestown set holding a young tot. She's signed on to play
alongside Affleck as his troubled ex-girlfriend. Jeremy Renner, winning over critics with
his role in "The Hurt Locker," was also on set and stars as Lively's brother and Affleck's
partner in crime.
Meanwhile, crews are preparing for an elaborate shoot 'em up scene at Fenway Park
scheduled to shoot sometime later this month. "Expect gun fire and a few cars
exploding," an inside source spills.
Later on Wednesday, Sept. 9, cast and crew ordered 14 pizzas from Ernesto's Pizza
located at 69 Salem St.
