Hanson, MA - The Nominations are in! Delta Films has announced the nominations for
the 2010 Delta's Choice Awards. There were a record 265 fully qualified films this year.
As in previous years ALL fully qualified movies are automatically nominated for Best
Picture.
Other catageories include Best Drama, Comedy, Romance, Action Adventure, Horror,
Scifi, Animated, Action, & Foreign Language as well as Best Director. As with all the
lesser movie awards the acting categories have Best Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor &
Actress but we also include Best Dramatic Performance and Best Comedic Performance.
We have a few categories that (I think) no one else uses: Best Movie Quote and Best
Nude Scene.
Leading this years nominations is Inception with 8 Delta's Choice nominations: Best
Science Fiction, Best Actor for Leonardo Dicaprio, Best Supporting Actor for Joseph
Gordon-Levitt, Best Director - Christopher Nolan, Best Special Effects, Best Dramatic
Performance for Leo Dicaprio and two in the Best Movie Quote category.
With five nominations there are five movies
Alice in Wonderland - SciFi, Director (Tim Burton), Special Effects, & 2 for Movie Quotes
