Actress Jeri Ryan (“Star Trek: Voyager”) will have a part on TNT’s “Leverage,”
according to the Hollywood Reporter. Ryan will play a street-wise con woman who
gets sucked into the “Leverage” family.
- Normally I don't bother reporting on TV,
especially cable TV but hey, Seven-of-Nine is HOT!

Topher Grace, Emma Roberts and Hector Elizondo have joined the cast of the
romantic comedy, “Valentine’s Day,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. The
ensemble film stars Julia Roberts, Anne Hathway, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba,
Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper and Ashton Kutcher. Gary
Marshall will direct the film.
- Hell of a cast, I'll have to catch this one. I wonder
when it will be opening?

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Noah Wyle will star in TNT’s alien invasion
pilot, which is being produced by Steven Spielberg. The show takes place after
aliens have wiped out most of the human’s on earth. Wyle will play the leader of
a group of soldiers and civilians who fight against the alien force.
- This sounds
alot like the Terminator series of movies doesn't it?

Privileged” star Joanna Garcia will join the cast of “Gossip Girl,” according to the
Hollywood Reporter. She will play an evil Miss America-type blonde.
-  Evil Miss America? Hasn't that part already been taken by Vanessa Williams.
Have you seen Ugly Betty? It doesn't get much more evil than that.

Variety reports that Ryan Reynolds will star in “Buried.” He will play a civilian
contractor who’s kidnapped in Iraq and wakes up buried in a coffin in the desert
with only a cell phone, a candle and a knife.
- Sounds pretty dark - Could be a
welcome reprieve from his fairly bland romantic comedy persona. For some
reason I keep hearing in my head Ricardo Montalban from "The Wrath of Kahn"
whispering over and over again "Buried Aliiive! Buried Aliiive
!"

Scout Taylor-Compton (“Halloween”) will play Lita Ford in “The Runaways,”
Variety reports. Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning star in the film about the
1970s all-girl punk band.
- A blonde, a brunette and a redhead! Yummy. I wonder
if there may be a part for her in "New Moon"?

Daniel Craig is in talks to star in “Dream House,” according to the Hollywood
Reporter. Jim Sheridan will direct the psychological thriller about a man who
moves with his family to a small town, only to find his house haunted by the
murdered residents who used to live there.
- Isn't this just a remake of "The
Messengers"? or pretty much ANY haunted house film. Is this really the best use
of an actor with Daniel's talents?

Craig Robinson ("The Office"), Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville and Camilla
Belle ("Push") will join Kevin Spacey in the film “Father of Invention,” according
to the Hollywood Reporter. The film tells the story of an inventor-turned-
egomaniacal billionaire who spends eight years in prison when one of his
inventions goes awry.
- Cool, it's about time one of these egomaniac billionaires
goes to jail - maybe he can room with Bernie Madoff.
