Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, currently in Boston filming the soon-to-be-renamed
"Wichita" project, are shooting near the Blue Wave bar & lounge located 343 Congress
St. in South Boston's Fort Point Channel neighborhood on Monday, Sept. 28.

The Boston Fire Museum, located at 344 Congress St., served as the exterior scene's
backdrop which involved Diaz and a MBTA bus. Filming moved inside the museum as
the day progressed.

Both Cruise and Diaz were wearing the same outfit from last week's shoot inside the
classic Parisian brasserie Gaslight located at 560 Harrison Avenue in the up-and-coming
SoWa district of the South End suggesting a continuation of last week's scene.

The untitled "Wichita" project follows Cruise as a secret agent who pops in and out of
the life of a single woman played by Diaz.

Principal filming for the made-in-Boston
spy flick "Wichita," starring Cruise, Diaz,
Maggie Grace and Marc Blucas, kicked off
on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Worcester
Regional Airport.

Also, Paul Dano, known as the brooding
brother in "Little Miss Sunshine" and star
of Spike Jonze's upcoming "Where the
Wild Things Are," has signed on to play a
"charming but mysterious scientist" in the
soon-to-be-renamed "Wichita" movie with
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

Apparently, Dano's character is thrust into
the action when his invention becomes
the focus of Cruise and Diaz's chase.

Vassili Shields shot the on-set photo
below from a Congress Street office
building.

According to Shields, "Tom was really
nice and kept meeting fans. Cameron
was sweet and waved to fans a lot."
